Designed by Gabellini Sheppard, Purchased by Benjamin West. The Knickerbocker in Times Square, NYC is a perfect example of the type of complex job HFC is capable of taking on. Since the hotel was originally built in the 1800s, almost every one of the 300 guestrooms and 30 suites required unique sizes and details. We manufactured almost 400 custom millwork & furniture items totaling over 5,000 pieces, including all of the built-in closets, wall panels, vanities, ledges, valances, headboards and nightstands, in addition to all of the desks, dressers, bed bases and tables. We also developed a custom engineered veneer to allow for the consistent grain and color you see throughout the room.
